Cultivating Digital Gardens
Growing Knowledge
Maggie Appleton describes Digital Gardens as "... a collection of evolving ideas that aren't strictly organised by their publication date"
She postulates six core guidelines for Digital Gardens, which I intend to use as I grow LearningOrganism:
- Topography over Timelines
- Continuous Growth
- Imperfection & Learning in Public
- Playful, Personal, and Experimental
- Intercropping & Content Diversity
- Independent Ownership
Starting Point
My Digital Garden is at it's initial stages. Much of it is bare, but will grow as I tend and cultivate it. It is better to create something and put it in the world, even if it's not complete.
